VALHALLA PROTOCOL is a band of five autonomous biorobots from a world in which human civilisation has partly collapsed. They are not human, but they have their own consciousness, personalities and emotions.

On 20 September 2071 the five old friends gathered in an abandoned underground facility to celebrate the hundredth birthday of a man the archives call only the Magician. Listening to the music of the old world, they realised that humanity's knowledge may survive, but its feelings may be lost. So they founded a band, to tell the story of humanity in the universal language of music.

Through a communication technology that only musical patterns can pass, their songs reach the past. In the world of the story, every release heard in 2026 is a decoded transmission from the future, with a threefold mission: remember, warn, give hope.

The line-up: VÁRGR and ELYRA on lead vocals, SKARV on lead guitar, KÆL on bass and electronics, and RÚNAR on drums. Their sound is heavy, modern metal built on the duality of human and machine.

VALHALLA PROTOCOL launched in 2026 as an openly AI-based artistic project. The concept, the album concepts and the lyrics are written by a human, with the lyrics refined and translated using artificial intelligence; the music, the images and the members' look are generated with AI under human direction.
